| "PESCADO," Spanish for
"fish." As one can see this Metlox pattern consists of bright
and beautiful colors. It's a pattern that is extremely difficult to
find. According to Carl Gibbs, Jr in his book Collector's
Encyclopedia of Metlox Potteries, there
were only 10 items made in this pattern. More is the pity. It's a
dinnerware pattern that deserves and commands Artware prices,
hand decorated and quality made. Pescado falls into the "late line
dinnerware" pattern produced about 1988 & 1989 shortly before
the pottery closed. This cookie jar is approximately 8" tall,
including the lid, and about 11" long. No chips, cracks or repairs. (To
