As one can see this Metlox pattern consists of bright
and beautiful colors. It's a pattern that is extremely difficult to
find. According to Carl
Gibbs, Jr in his book Collector's
Encyclopedia of Metlox Potteries, there were only 10
items made in this pattern. More is the pity. It's a dinnerware pattern
that commands
Artware prices, hand decorated and quality made. This is the chip and
dip serving
piece, shape # 740, just over 13½" long and 6"
wide. It's super, it's rare and it's perfect. No chips, cracks or
