| All of Chester Nicodemus's animals are distinctive and
this remarkable animal is no different. According to "Sanford's Guide To Nicodemus" by author Jim Riebel, Chester made all of his own glazes which gives his pieces a rare coloring. Antique Ivory is the color shown here. Furthermore, the molds from which many of his creations were made consisted of anywhere from 3 to 6 different pieces; not an inexpensive process.
