"Sanford's Guide to Nicodemus His Pottery
and His Art," lists this sign as
"too rare to price." Indeed, most original dealer display signs
whether they be Roseville or Weller or Rookwood command premium art
pottery prices. Much of Chester Nicodemus's art pottery may be considered
"rare," and this sign can be counted as the rarest of the rare.
It comes in super, pristine condition. It's size is 7¾"
x 1⅞" x 1⅜."
Marked with the oval "Nicodemus" on the bottom. It also carries the
ferro-stone label. No chips, no cracks and
no repairs.
