(USE MOUSE OVER)
This Bunting is prettier than the photo
shows. In reality the colors are brighter.
It's 5" tall and comes in great condition with
no chips, cracks or repairs. When you use
your mouse over the above photo, you'll
find the initials "DSF." The "DS" stands for
Dot Salter who was the decorator. The "F" stands
for Flemington, New Jersey, where the work was done. The Texas Parks
&
Wildlife has this to say about the Painted Bunting. "Even
though painted buntings are fairly
common birds in much of Texas they are rarely seen.
When they are spotted, people often believe that they
are an escaped tropical bird." Nice bird.
