"From 1932
to 1934, Sunburst shapes could also be
ordered with the middle band sprayed with Persian
Yellow instead of Silver Green. This created a
vibrant, eye-catching, bright yellow effect that is
now hard to find and coveted by many collectors.
Sunburst items with bright Persian Yellow
midsections can sometimes sell for nearly double
that of the same piece with the typical
Tangerine/Silver Green/Black Sunburst glaze."
The above quote is from Rob
Runge's outstanding book, "The Collector's Encyclopedia of Stangl
Artware, Lamps, and Birds," page 255. This vase is 9½"
tall in excellent condition except for a tiny chip on the
lip now professionally and invisibly restored. A terrific vase. (Item 3410) To view other Stangl Artware
