Melinda is the girl tennis player
designed by Helen Slater for the Metlox Pottery Company of Manhattan
Beach, California. This version of Melinda, however, is distinctive in
that this one is accompanied by a large bowl. For contrast see item
3748.
She is approximately 6" tall by about 5" wide. Her male
counterpart is Eliot. See item
3838.
Over 87 whimsical figures were designed by Slater for Metlox. Melinda is in excellent condition with
no chips, cracks or repairs.
