WELLER WORLDS FAIR SOUVENIR PLAQUE 1904 The Weller Pottery Company gave these
plaques away at the 1904 World's Fair. The Fair was billed as the
Louisiana Purchase Exposition, (LPE), celebrating the purchase
from France in 1803. The plaque shows a map of the United States featuring
the States that were included in the Louisiana Purchase. The inscription reads
"Worlds Fair,
St. Louis 1904. L. P. E. 1803 Weller Pottery Zanesville, Ohio." No chips,
cracks or repairs.
